    Ku'ikahi Mediation Center hosts the "Finding Solutions, Growing Peace" FREE BROWN BAG LUNCH SERIES. Held monthly on Third Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney at 655 Kilauea Avenue in Hilo. Each month an invited speaker presents a different topic. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, enjoy an informal and educational talk-story session, and meet others interested in "Finding Solutions, Growing Peace." Free and open to the public.     As part of its "Tools to Transform Conflict" Training Series, Ku'ikahi Mediation Center presents BASIC MEDIATION TRAINING. Facilitated by Diane Petropulos & Catherine Lampton, this 4-day training takes place from 8:30 pm to 5:00 pm in Hilo. Learn a variety of conflict resolution and prevention techniques in this interactive training--through lecture, group discussion, hands-on exercises, and mediation simulation practice. Whether you want to improve your communication skills or become a volunteer mediator at Ku'ikahi, this training gives you the tools you need to start resolving conflict in peaceful, lasting ways. No particular background or personality needed-all welcome! Tuition is $325 (group discounts and individual needs-based partial scholarships available).     Ku'ikahi Mediation Center presents a FREE CAREGIVER WORKSHOP: CONNECTING WITH OTHERS THROUGH DIALOGUE. This 2.5 hour workshop takes place from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at the Aging & Disability Resource Center in Hilo. Are you a caregiver for a parent, grandparent, spouse, friend, or someone with special needs? Join us to discuss common struggles, discover resources in the community, and learn how positive communication can improve your and your loved one's well-being. This workshop includes facilitated dialogue with other caregivers, a positive communication webinar, interactive exercises, and helpful resources. Pre-registration is required.     In honor of International Conflict Resolution Day, the public is invited to the free workshop HO'OPONO PONO KE ALA: MAKING RIGHT MORE RIGHT THE PATH. The event takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at UH-Hilo Campus Center Room 301. A reception with pupu beings at 4:45 p.m. Parking is free on campus after 4:00 p.m. The evening begins with an introduction by the Rotary Peace Committee on "Hawai'i Nei: Vision of International Peace." The workshop presenter is Kumu Mahealani Kuamo'o-Henry, Hawaiian spirituality teacher and practitioner. To make right more right is to help people release self-limiting thought patterns and emotions and become more connected with their highest selves.     Ku'ikahi Mediation Center - in participation with the Hawai'i County Bar Association - is hosting our 13th ANNUAL RECOGNITION DINNER AND AUCTION at Nani Mau Gardens in Hilo to help fund our non-profit human services agency. This year's event honors: TO BE ANNOUNCED. No-host cocktails are served at 5:00 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. The buffet features: TO BE ANNOUNCED. Tickets are $95 per person (of which $50 is tax deductible).
