17th ANNUAL RECOGNITION DINNER & AUCTION

Ku’ikahi Mediation Center–together with the Hawai’i County Bar Association (HCBA)–hosts our 17th ANNUAL RECOGNITION DINNER & AUCTION at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Moku’ola Ballroom. Proceeds support ‘Finding Solutions, Growing Peace.’ This year Ku’ikahi is giving the ‘Peacemaker Award’ to Dale & Sandra Tokuuke, who serve on several non-profit boards, committees, and clubs.  The HCBA is honoring three attorneys: Jacky Mena and, posthumously, Brian De Lima and Melody Parker. The buffet features: carved slow roasted prime rib of beef with au jus and creamy horseradish, furikake salmon with teriyaki sauce and wasabi aioli, hoisin glazed roast chicken, grilled Kona Coast cold water prawns with chimichurri sauce, clams and mussels sautéed with garlic tomato white wine broth.  Also served are Caesar salad, penne pasta salad, sautéed seasonal vegetables, steamed rice, dinner rolls, dessert, and iced tea, hot tea, and coffee. This fundraiser provides a significant portion of the funds that Ku’ikahi needs to provide free and low-cost dispute prevention and resolution services in East Hawai’i.
