21st ANNUAL RECOGNITION DINNER & AUCTION

Ku’ikahi Mediation Center–together with the Hawai’i County Bar Association (HCBA)–hosts our 21st ANNUAL RECOGNITION DINNER & AUCTION at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Moku’ola Ballroom. Proceeds support ‘Finding Solutions, Growing Peace.’ This year Ku’ikahi is giving the ‘Peacemaker Award’ to Toby Taniguchi, President & Chief Executive Officer of KTA Super Stores. The HCBA is giving its ‘Meritorious Service Award’ to William B. Heflin, Attorney & Partner at Alcain Naniole & Heflin LLLC. The buffet features: carved slow roasted prime rib of beef with au jus and creamy horseradish, furikake salmon with teriyaki sauce and wasabi aioli, hoisin glazed roast chicken, grilled peeled shrimp with chimichurri sauce, mussels sautéed with garlic tomato white wine broth, and vegan tofu katsu curry.  Also served are Caesar salad, penne pasta salad, sautéed seasonal vegetables, steamed rice, dinner rolls, dessert, and iced tea, hot tea, and coffee. This fundraiser provides a significant portion of the funds that Ku’ikahi needs to provide free and low-cost dispute prevention and resolution services in East Hawai’i. Tickets are $140 per person (of which $60 is tax deductible). Reserved tables of 8 are available for Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Sponsors.
